Board Certified Family Medicine Physician located in Scotch Plains, NJ

Pooja Mehta, MD, is a primary care physician who is board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate education at Stony Brook University in New York. Then, she earned her medical degree with honors at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in New York, New York. Dr. Mehta completed her family medicine residency at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, Dr. Mehta’s experience includes working as a family medicine physician in San Diego, California, and an urgent care physician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She co-founded Stat Seva Mobile Medical Unit in 2016 to provide free medical checkups to poverty-stricken villages in New Delhi, India, using a custom medical bus.

Patient Coordinator

As a patient coordinator, Patricia sets up appointments for our patients interested in medical and aesthetic procedures. Patricia is one of the newest members here at Garden State medical spa. What makes Garden State medical spa such a special place for Patricia is the opportunity to put the needs of the patients 1st.  Patricia enjoys collaborating with other healthcare professionals at Garden State medical spa brainstorming solutions, and oriented ideas to best sever the needs of each individual patient.

Lead MA/Clinical Coordinator

At Garden State Medical spa, Telesee is one of our versatile employees as a Patient Coordinator and a Medical Assistant. Telesee has been a Medical Assistant for 4 years and has always had a passion for the medical field. She has a background in pain management and Urgent Care, where her love and compassion roots. She is known for her optimal patient care, kind demeanor, and organization skills, which are obvious in all her interactions with coworkers and patients. She is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and considers Garden state family care and medical spa her home and coworkers as family.

Patient Coordinator / Medical Assistant

  Teresa has been with the Garden State medical spa family since 2021, assisting Dr. Mehta on a daily basis. Her passion for the medical field and all things aesthetic has always found a way to Teresa through her actions. She not only wants our patients to look their best but also feel their best. , Teresa sets up appointments for our patients interested in medical and cosmetic procedures. What makes Garden State Medical spa a special place for Teresa is working with a caring and professional team whose main purpose is patient satisfaction.  She also loves the office vibe which is always upbeat with all the staff treating each other like family.
